Lubbock Police, EMS Discover Dead Texas Tech Student at Ulofts Apartments [Updated]

[UPDATE 11:29 a.m. 1/23/16] Lubbock police have released the name of the Texas Tech student found dead inside his apartment at Ulofts Apartment: Kasey Calaway.

[Update 1:03 p.m. 1/22/16] Lt. Ray Mendoza of the Lubbock Police Department says the deceased person discovered at Ulofts Apartments was a Texas Tech student.

The yet-unidentified 22-year-old male was found dead on the floor of his apartment. No signs of a struggle have been reported. A cause of death has yet to be released by Lubbock police.

[Original story] A report of a dead body brought Lubbock police and EMS out to Lubbock's Ulofts Apartments Friday morning (Jan. 22).

According to KAMC/Everything Lubbock, Lubbock police have contacted homicide investigators to the apartment complex, located at 1001 University Ave.
