Update On Saliva’s Wayne Swinny

Sunday brought better news on the status of Wayne Swinny, as he's battling severe pneumonia after collapsing late last week.

As you've probably read in the last post, Swinny was on a ventilator and was unconscious. Sunday I got word that he's off the ventilator and is successfully breathing on his own.

There's obviously a long road ahead for Wayne, as there is a possibility of brain damage due to a lack of oxygen during his unconscious state. For now, fingers are crossed in hopes that this isn't the case.

Time will tell, per usual, what will happen with my brother and great friend, so again, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
