USA Today Puts Lubbock And Buddy Holly In The Spotlight

It is rough in the streets in Lubbock. The football team is stumblin', three Texas Tech fraternities have been suspended (the last for some real rape-y behavior) and the whole place is currently a mud pit.  With all those nonsense making headlines, it's good to see a positive spotlight on the town.

USA Today reporter Rick Jervis made his way to the Hub City for the Timothy Cole Memorial unveiling but we kind enough to stop by the Buddy Holly Center. Jervis detailsh is "awakening" to Buddy Holly in today's online edition of the paper (don't know about the regular edition).  Jervis goes through some of Buddy's influences and  impact.
