Volbeat Frontman Reveals He Already Has Three New Songs In Mind

As an extension on the news from a couple weeks ago in which guitarist Rob Caggiano stated the band plans to return to the studio later this year or early in 2015, lead singer Michael Poulson dished out some new details on the upcoming project as well.

In a recent interview with ArtistDirect, Michael Poulson admitted he's already in the writing phase for the next album, which would be the band's six. Poulson directly said he has "snippets for at least three other songs" which he and the band will obviously mold into something awesome later.

Poulson also claims that the band is attempting to "progress but without changing too much".
