This just makes me mad.  No one will take responsibility for anything anymore.  It's unfortunate but some people make STUPID decisions and that's the end of the story.  The families enter into a weepy eyed agreement with a shady lawyer in an attempt for a quick money grab.  I was kind of letting this topic face away out of respect for the family, but I no longer have any respect for the family.  More after the jump.

If you are not family, at the Volbeat show a seemingly intoxicated (one way or another) guy got to the front of the security line.  He then refused to be searched and became quite agitated.  He then pulled a knife out and threw it.  He was then refused entrance for being a jerk. At some point he started running from security and jumped over a fence, behind buildings, obviously trespassing, until he tried to jump from building to building (and he was being told to stop the whole time).  He was found by Sheriffs who tried to administer cpr, but it was too late. At this point, I'll tell you this just a brief version of the story, but that's about it.  A guy, who appeared to be wasted, trespassed while he was trying to sneak into a concert and he jumped to his death.  I highlighted the previous sentence, because that's all that matters. I don't want to get too simple here, but if you get drunk and walk past the safety ropes at the Grand Canyon, you'll get what you deserve too.

The problem at this point is juries and shady lawyers pandering to crying families.  There is NO WAY anybody is responsible for this mans death. Yet, no doubt, the promoters, the venue and the security will all have to retain lawyers just to prove that yes, this guy had a bad day and pulled a stupid stunt.  You see, these are vultures, and that's all they are, wanting to make a buck off their own dead.  Yeah, I said it. They're not even waiting for the police to wrap the case up before they try to swoop in for a quick buck.  They are "betting" that they'll get a quick settlement before the toxicology comes back on this guy and an official determination is made in his death.  I don't want to hear any of that crap about "getting to the truth" either, the police will do that.  I'm sure a few thousand bucks sent your way would pay for the truth you want.

Now for those of you who think this is a bit "cold', I tried to be very tactful before.  Now the same people who want you to feel sorry for them are trying to take advantage of the legal system.  Now, I don't know how far reaching their suit is, but let me ask them this-are you going to sue the sheriff who gave mouth to mouth to this obviously dying individual?  What about my friends who had nightmares after discovering him?  How about my friend that cleaned up the blood out of respect for the man (he doesn't work for the venue, but tried to do the right thing).  Please, sue me too.  I wasn't on hand until after the event, but I'll look you in the eye and tell you that you're a gold digging ghouls. Sure you want to claim he was a nice guy who never would have hurt anybody, but then why the knife?  What if security hadn't been looking for knifes and he  stabbed a bunch of people?  Yeah, you want to say "he would never do that", but he was obviously not in his right mind or he wouldn't have tried to jump from building to building.  Let's also not forget, apparently he had busted both of his ankles before in a similar stunt.  This was no kid either, this was a grown man.  I, for one, am tired of being tactful about this incident.  Nobody wants to say it, but I will, this is the kind of thing that happens when you behave like a jerk. To those who felt responsible to sue,  I hope your attorney takes you for every penny you have for putting innocent people through this.  At the end of the day, it's you that will be dragging your loved ones name through the mud.
