Want to Know Whose Life Might Suck Worse Than Yours? How About the Guy Who WAS Slipknot’s Lead Singer Before They Got Huge. [VIDEO]

Stone Sour played a special hometown show at a place called Wooly’s in Des Moines, Iowa. The opening act was Painface, a band fronted by singer Anders Colsefini. Anders was the original singer for Slipknot, and he left for whatever reason he had at the time. He was replaced by Corey Taylor after his departure in 1997. The rest is rock history.

Now it doesn’t suck to be this guy because his band sucks. The music isn’t all that bad. But to know that you left the ultimate metal band right before their meteoric rise has to sting in your man sac a little.

Hey at least Corey Taylor is such an awesome guy that he had this guy’s band open for Stone Sour. That’s pretty bad-ass of Corey.

Check out Painface form that show.
