Weekend Games Set Up Conference Title Matchups

Upsets were deep in the top 25 this week, but there were still some killer games, especially Washington State taking the Apple Cup title from Washington.

Mike Leach's first season as Wazzou's new head coach has been a little rocky, but he solidified a spot of respect as he coached his Cougars to a victory over the disdained and hated Washington Huskies in Pullman.The Apple Cup seems to have given the Coug fans some revitalized hope in their new coach, which is quite understandable. I give Leach some credit, and I'm sure he'll have his team rocking next year.

In other news, TCU beat Texas in Austin, Pittsburgh beat Rutgers, Louisville fell to Connecticut and South Carolina beat Clemson.

In the NFL, we had more OT action with Houston coming out on top against Detroit on Thanksgiving and Baltimore escaping San Diego by a field goal.
