When Will the Heat Break for West Texas?

This has been a weird summer. We didn't hit many of the hundred-teens, but it's still been a scorcher.

This brings us to the question: "when will the heat break?" Meaning, when will it go down and stay down? I have some pretty good news for you, it's not that far away before things get at least reasonable.

A quick look at the 30-day forecast shows things settling down into the mid-80s the weekend after Labor Day weekend. If the forecast holds true, we should hit the mid-80s around Saturday, September 8th and hold tight there.

Best of all, it looks like temps will drop each week, with low 80s around mid-month and topping out in the upper 70s around the beginning of October.

Fall is on the way, and I personally can't wait for it to arrive.
