Halloween might be the most celebrated holiday in the city of Lubbock. Children of all ages will dress up to become creatures of the nights, nurses, witches, princes & princesses and any other costume idea that may come to mind. This is the one time of the year that everyone can cut loose without judgement. While some are creative enough to make their own costumes, most of us rely on going to buy our costumes. There aren't too many places you can do this in Lubbock but there are some great places where you can find what you're needing. Here are our top 5 places to buy Halloween costumes in the city of Lubbock.

  • Party City

Party City is an easy one stop shop for anything Halloween related. You can get costumes for infants, children, teens and adults with great selection. You can also stop their for all your Halloween decorations. Party City is located on the east side of the South Plains Mall between JC Penney and Barnes & Nobles.

  • Walmart

Walmart is the best place for Halloween on a budget. You can find the best price points for mostly teenage costumes or younger. I wouldn't recommend buying an adult sized costume at Walmart because of the quality of material but it's perfect for the pint sized trick or treater.

  • Target

Target may be your best stop in Lubbock for Halloween costumes for your kids. Like Party City and Walmart before, Target also has a fantastic selection of costumes for your kids. It just stands out the most though for quality and actual costume selection. You'll never go wrong with picking up a costume from the big red bull's eye.

  • Party Plus

Party Plus is much like Party City. It's your one stop shop for getting your Halloween set. You can get your costumes, decorations and accessories all in the same place. Party Plus also has a great selection of masks and those little extra pieces to complete your perfect costume.

It's the Halloween super store in Lubbock. You can find every little thing you could ever want at the Halloween super store. It usually opens at the beginning of September but make sure you go early so you can score the best Halloween costumes they have to offer before they're gone.
