A holiday tradition returns to Lubbock. Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Carol Concert at the Texas Tech School of Music.

The event will happen Tuesday, December 2 from 7:45 to 10 p.m. and feature familiar Christmas hymns "Joy to the World," "O Come, All Ye Faithful," "What Child Is This" and "O Holy Night," as well as some less-familiar songs, such as "Missa Pax" (Mass of Peace) and "To the Mothers of Brazil" with percussion.

Tickets can be purchased online at link below or at the door. They range in price from $14 for reserved seats in the first four rows of the hall and $11 for preferred seating, which is any seat in the front half of the hall, excluding the reserved seats. General admission tickets, which are good for any seat in the upper half of the hall, are $8.

Students can receive a free ticket with a valid student ID, which they can get at the door when they arrive that night.

The 2014 Carol Concert happens at the Hemmle Recital Hall on the Texas Tech University campus in Lubbock, Texas.
