The Miracles Christmas Parade gets under way at 6 p.m. More than 30,000 people are expected to line 34th street from Avenue Q to Indiana. But where's the best place to bundle up and enjoy?

Where you want to be to get the best view of the parade depends a little on if you're able to get an early start. And getting an early start is definitely recommended.

You probably want to be smack dab in the middle of the parade, right around 34th and Flint. Things tend to be very congested at the start of the parade at Avenue Q and at the end near Indiana.

If you can get a good spot around Flint and 34th, you'll also be close to a couple of big parking lots. Plus, there are several great restaurants to check out right there like Tom & Bingo's BBQ, Caprock Cafe and Lonestar Oyster Bar.

Since a lot of the construction has finished up on 34th, the road is wider and there's a lot of great shopping as well -- antique shops, western wear stores, Holly Hop Ice Cream Shoppe and Walter's World of Pets. Give yourself some extra time to rediscover 34th Street.
