White Supremacist Graffiti Found Painted On Lubbock Democratic Party Headquarters

I can't even imagine what kind of moron would think that all political discussions should be a one-way street. That would be my guess as to why the headquarters of the Lubbock Democratic Party would be vandalized.

Spray painted on the side of the Lubbock Democratic Party were some cross-hairs and the numbers 1488. 1488 is white supremacist code. The "14" is stands for the white supremacist slogan "14 Words" which are "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children".  The 88 refers to the 8th letter of the alphabet which is "H", so "88" is translated as "H.H." or "Heil Hitler".

Most times something like this happens it's just knuckleheads or prankster and not serious threats. Still, there's no room for this nonsense in a civilized society. There is no reason for hostility towards people of different viewpoints. We all want a nice place for our children to grow up, we all just have different ideas on how to go about it.

The graffiti was spray painted sometime over the weekend. Security cameras are in use in buildings around this area and they will be reviewed to help find the culprit(s). Hopefully,  everyone from all political parties will denounce this act as UnAmerican and UnWanted.
