Winter Storm ‘What The Hell’ Begins

I like to get out and do my weekly shopping at five or six Sunday mornings. It gives me a great opportunity to give Lubbock the once over while the rest of you lazies sleep.  This morning I saw, or/or felt the latest blast of winter rolling in.

I started this morning at about six and everything was cool and crisp but no big deal. No big deal except they were spraying the roads ahead of me. My first thought was "they must know something I don't know".  When I left Wally-World at a little before seven things had changed dramatically. The temperature had gone down while the wind came up and it began to mist rather heavily. So what's in store?  Well, it looks like a 60% chance of a wintery mix today, a 70% for tonight and a 60% chance for tomorrow. It looks like most of the weather will be this (Sunday) morning before noon, then the rest comes in tonight and tomorrow. It looks like it's still a little too warm for anything to stick today. So, tonight and tomorrow are the real concern. With a high of only 26, the roads could be very icy in the morning.
