This one is for all you a hard core soccer fans.

IF you can tear yourselves away from World Cup games you will most definitely want to check out this movie.

As you may or may not know the 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar, “The Workers Cup” is an inside look at the men responsible for building the stadiums where those games will be played.

By day these these stadiums are being built by men in labor camps.

By night these same men play in what are referred to as “workers welfare tournaments”in the very stadiums they are building for World Cup matches in four years.

This film is sure to be a hit at the Sundance Film Festival and you can catch a screening at Alamo Drafthouse this Wednesday, June 20 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
