You Might Be Surprised How The U.S. Supreme Courts Ruling On Gay Marriage Will Affect You

What a sucker headline. Sorry, gay marriage, also known as "marriage" will not affect you. It means zip, zero, nothing.

If gay people are given the right to marry, the U.S. will not suffer God's wrath. Your marriage will not be worth less or demeaned in any way. Your kids will not be confused (in fact they'll no doubt be more cool with it than you).

There is always something. Booze, integration, shopping on Sundays and even women  scandalously wearing pantyhose. These are just a small sample of things that gathered the kind of negativity and threats of punishment from above if they weren't stopped immediately.

Grow up and get real. If we aren't being punished for letting people go hungry, for kids being homeless and for the general meanness out there despite the commandment to "love one another" then some gay folks getting married won't change things either.

A decision from the Supreme Court may come as early as today.
