The answer is "no", Texas can't get any dumber. Well I guess it can, but it sure as hell is already leading the way.

I stumbled across this list of "the Top 100 Least Educated Cities In America". I was stunned by how many times I saw "Texas" on the list.  Are you ready for this? Out of the top 100, we placed 52 times!  California looks to be second place with 32 entries.

There seems to be a kind of cognitive dissonance in America right now.  People just aren't comfortable hearing that sometimes we aren't the greatest place in the world or the greatest state in the union. It actually short circuits their brains and all they can think of is "if you don't like it leave!", when what they should be thinking is "how can we be better?".

Let's also be honest, these towns that are listed are barely on the map. They are real rural.  Then again, you think of the urban wastelands out there, the cities with crumbling infrastructures and you have to wonder, how are they doing better than us?  You can see the complete list here.
