You’re Never Too Old To Rock And Roll

Hey, it's my birthday this Saturday and IDGAF.

I'm writing this not for me, but for you. There's always time for you to do the things you want to do and you should never let the critics get you down. There are always going to be people who say you're too old, too young, too inexperienced or a host of other "too"s to try to drag you down to me level.

So I think of age this way. I'm about a year older than most of the guys in Metallica (but the same age as Kirk). I'm about a year older than Brad Pitt and just a couple years older than Johnny Depp. I'm younger than George Clooney, Eddie Murphy and George Lopez. I'm the same age as Axl Rose, Jim Carrey, Garth Brooks, Anthony Kiedis & Flea, Tommy Lee, and Survivor host Jeff Probst.

Do you see what I did with that list there? None of those people are considered "too old". So, from me to you, remember there is still plenty of time to rock out and work towards your dreams. My birthday wish is you to always remember this and keep rockin' (and adopt a stray animal and give blood).
