Two men have been indicted for a string of burglaries that include breaking into the home of a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant.

A police report states that on Nov. 25th 2019, two men broke into the lieutenant's home and stole several items, including eight guns, a backpack, a Sheriff’s Office uniform, a watch, and a gym bag.

The two thieves were later identified as 28-year-old Brandon McDaniel, and 30-year-old Anthony Zamora.

They were arrested on Dec. 17th, 2019, after police tracked a stolen vehicle to a home where the two men were staying. Investigators were able to identify items stolen from the lieutenant’s house and other stolen items from other burglaries.

Zamora and McDaniel were indicted Tuesday, March 10th, 2020, on multiple theft charges, including two counts of burglary each. They both remain booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center on bonds totaling over $200,000.
