To the fantastic folks at 50th Street Caboose,

On behalf of everyone in town who has eaten, celebrated big milestones, and played games until their hearts delight, within your walls, I just want to say thanks. For decades, you’ve been so much more than just a restaurant. A night at Caboose is a Lubbock tradition.

From the incredible enchiladas, and tasty burgers to endless basklets of chips and salsa, you've fed us for generations and welcomed us in like family. Your menu has a little bit of something for everyone, and we always leaves with a smile on our face.

But it's so much more than just the food at 50th Street Caboose. It’s the atmosphere: the big-screen TVs filled with sports, the arcade room lit up like vegas, the clacking of pool balls, and the sound of kids laughing and excitedly showing off their beloved prizes to one another. We've celebrated birthdays with you, toasted with coworkers after long weeks, and plenty of couples have nervously smiled at one another across your tables on first dates.

In a town where restaurants come and go, 50th Street Caboose has stuck around to see us through it all. You've given us a place where walking through the door is not only comforting and familiar, but is still exciting, after all these years.

Here’s to a million more incredible years of Caboose magic.

With gratitude,
Everyone
