The 8th Annual Susan G. Komen Laugh For The Cure
Get ready to laugh for a great cause Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Lubbock Civic Center Theater. Comedian John Crist will headline and Derrick Tennant will open.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.and show starts at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar and silent auction. The event will benefit the Lubbock area Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Night of Angels Benefit with The Rankin Twins
Alstrom Angels' annual benefit at the 4 Bar K on 82nd St. featuring the music of The Rankin Twins. Tickets include dinner, beer and wine for 21 and over and dancing. Live and silent auctions. Two items of note are an electric guitar signed by all of The Eagles, including Glenn Frey and a signed original Star Wars movie poster signed by the original cast.

Concert with Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots
Lonestar 99.5's Bobby Bones is coming to City Bank Auditorium with his Raging Idiots for a show on Saturday, Feb. 13. It's a family-friendly show with Love & Theft opening.

Nightmare on 19th Street's 'My Bloody Valentine'
A great alternative for the usual Valentine's fare, especially if you're single or just want to get the crap scared out of you.
All four attractions that are normally open on for the month of October will be open Saturday, Feb 13 only. Tickets will be available at the Nightmare on 19th St. ticket office on the night of the event.

American Heart Association 2016 Lubbock Heart Ball
If your tastes run more toward the traditional night of dinner and dancing, then this is the creme de la creme in Lubbock.
The event benefits the American Heart Association and will feature guest speakers Ron Roberts and Xavier Ramirez. It starts at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Texas Tech Merket Alumni Center.

Moonlight Musicals Presents Disney's 'The LIttle Mermaid'
Lubbock Moonlight Musicals' production of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" will be running two weekends: Feb. 12 - 14, and Feb. 19-21 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Theater. Evening and matinee performances are both offered. Moonlight Musicals has proven to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the amazing talent and creativity of these performances.
