Amarillo Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Cocaine and Meth Distribution
An Amarillo man has been sentenced to life in prison for distributing cocaine and methamphetamine.
Thirty-nine-year-old Moises Jimenez was convicted of one count of distribution and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
In January 2015, Amarillo police officers executed a search warrant at Jimenez’s apartment. The search yielded one kilogram of methamphetamine, almost 300 grams of cocaine, around $22,000 in cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Jimenez has remained in custody since his arrest in December 2016.
