Hello, I’m Daniel Paulus. Since I was born in 1993, my whole life has been involved with the military: my parents were stationed in Berlin, Germany. I lived there for a year before coming back to the States, & I moved down to El Paso in ’97. I‘m definitely a 90s kid; I loved the cartoon shows & the videos games (Like Pokémon & Super Mario World). I’m also a huge animal lover; I’ve owned 5 dogs in my life. I’m a huge lover of music: I’ve been a singer, I played piano & drums ever since 1st grade. I’m very active in supporting the El Paso music scene, doing whatever I can to help it flourish. My goal is to show people that whatever talents you have, use them to their full potential & the opportunities will come to you. Since then, my whole life has revolved around music since I can remember: from performing on stage growing up listening to bands like Rush, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater (among COUNTLESS OTHERS) to doing endless research on bands & musicians, their albums & songs & the stories that went behind the music we love just because well... I WANTED to. To this day, I'm still very much involved in writing & recording music, performing with local musicians & I will continue to do so! I got my start working in radio back in 2014 in the world of jazz, where I had countless roles in editing, producing commercials, voice-overs & even managing to host my very own jazz program! I grew up listening to radio legends like Casey Kasem, Orson Wells, Wolfman Jack & of course our very own Scott Ronson. Working in radio has been an absolute dream of mine and the fact that I get to play all the rock songs I grew up listening to on the radio for a living, makes it 10 times better & I love every second of it!
