FMX Concert Events

One of my favorite singers ever is coming back to Lubbock. But not with his band, Blue October. No Justin Furstenfeld, the lead singer of said band, is coming on a solo acoustic book tour performance.

My pick to click this summer is an outfit out of Tempe, Arizona by the name of DED.

Many of you know that Marshal Dutton and I have been friends for years now since he was in Faktion. Now that he's in Hinder we still hang out every time they roll through.

But then again, if you are one of those in the second category, I've got some good news for you, Jake's will host another great band in the Room of Doom as P.O.D. rolls into town for one night only.

There were over 5,000 loud and screaming fans who braved the weather for Blink 182. And before it all went to hell storm wise, there was an insanely long line of people. Are you one of them?

As I was perusing the merch table at the Blink show, I noticed some really cool stuff. And something that was at least a little weird.

It was an epic blink-182 concert (for many reasons), and Travis Barker wants to thank all of you.

After a weather delay at the Spring Thing concert in Lubbock, blink-182 bassist/singer Mark Hoppus said what the 5,000+ in attendance were thinking.

For the first time ever, blink-182, one of the biggest punk bands on the planet, played Lubbock. And despite Mother Nature's best efforts, the show went on.
