Now that we are transitioning from summer to fall, we are in a sweet spot where there are still summer fruits and veggies in season, but we are also starting to see some fall produce come into season as well.
A triple threat of viruses is on the rise and it’s now being called a ‘tripledemic.' This includes SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), influenza (flu) and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported at least 8.7 million flu cases, 78,000 hospitalizations and more than 4,000 deaths so far this season.
