Celebrate National Love Your Pets Day on Thursday, February 20th.

How much do you love your pet? It's time to show them! Take some extra time and spend it with your pet. Brush, groom, pet, cuddle and care for them. Offer up their favorite treat. National Pet Day is for dogs and cats and all our critters big and small!

Whether it's some extra time shared bonding with your hamster, or some extra care and treats for your horses, National Pet Day is the day to make this a special priority, so mark your calendar, and post a picture of your pet on social media.

If you don't have a pet, now's the perfect time to think about adopting. There are wonderful dogs and cats who need a forever home at Lubbock Animal Services and other shelters.
