Thursday morning, Texas Tech football announced that another Red Raider has reached an agreement to join an NFL team, and it's a great 'For The Brand' moment.

Kicker Clayton Hatfield has received a mini camp invite and will have the opportunity to join the Indianapolis Colts.

Hatfield in his final season for the Red Raiders was automatic with extra points, converting all 55 extra point attempts on the season. He converted on 77 consecutive extra points dating back to last season. Hatfield also had a field goal percentage of 89.5 percent, missing only two field goals in the 2018 season.

Earning an invite with the Colts could be something really great for Hatfield in the coming future. The current Colts kicker is Adam Vinatieri, who is without a question the greatest of all time. But Vinatieri is 46 years old, and has been kicking around retirement the past couple of seasons.

If Hatfield plays his cards right, he could be the successor to the greatest kicker in history, or he could find himself on another team that desperately needs an accurate kicker.

Hatfield joins former teammates, Vaughnte DorseyTony JonesJah'Shawn JohnsonAntoine Wesley and Preston Gordon as the only Red Raiders to sign as undrafted free agents or be invited to a mini camp so far.
