As a Red Raider, Cody Farhat started 102 games for Texas Tech and finished with a .302 batting average while roaming center field. Farhat's biggest game at the plate came in one of the brightest moments when he went 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBI against Louisville to close out the Lubbock Regional.

Cody Farhat was a first team All-Big 12 member as a Sophomore after bursting onto the season during Big 12 play hitting .343 and playing near perfect defense.

In a bit of surprise move, Farhat accepted the offer from the Clevland Indians instead of returning to Texas Tech for his Senior season. No doubt Farhat has the potential, but he could have really shined in 2019 for Texas Tech. In a draft full of big losses for the Red Raiders, Farhat's presence will surely be missed.

Farhat made the decision final on twitter.com.
