How to Check If Your Frozen Foods Are Part of the Recall
The products were manufactured in Texas between March 17 and all the way into September, so the likelihood that they are still in many household freezers is quite high. These products have a wide range of lot numbers and Use By Dates. If you have one of these products, check it against this list published by Tyson. If your product is on the list, DO NOT consume it.
Additionally, some of these items were sold to "school districts and Defense Department facilities," so officials there should be vigilant with this recall as well.
Foreign Object Contamination Is A Serious Food Safety Issue
Plastic, metal, wood, glass, and even bugs can end up in packaged foods due to their manufacturing process. That is why it is important to remain aware of every latest recall to avoid injuries and illnesses.
