Alexa Conner, a sophomore at Frenship High School, has been chosen by the FBI to participate in the Youth Leadership Program in Quantico, Virginia.

Conner was chosen along with 60 others to participate in the program that will last from June 20th to June 28th.

According to KAMC News, those chosen were judged based on their GPA, an intensive review, a detailed essay, community involvement, volunteering, and extracurricular school activities.

The Youth Leadership Program consists of "classroom study, physical challenges, guest lectures and leadership experiences."
