Reports came out yesterday that a Great White Shark named Cabot had been spotted in the Long Island Sound. It made news because it's not normal for Great White's to be there. How did researchers know the shark was there and what the name of the shark was? They had been tracking it and you can too.

The website Ocearch.org tracks sharks, seals, whales, and other ocean wildlife. It's part of ongoing research the organization does to collect data on the ocean. The website crashed on Monday when people like me found out about it, but now it's back up and showing us where sharks, turtles, and seals are hanging out. Of course it doesn't show all the wildlife in the ocean, just the animals tagged by Ocearch.

For those of you who are worried about sharks and thinking about going to the Texas coast over Memorial Day weekend, you may think twice about clicking.

Check out a track sharks and more at Ocearch.org.
