Embark On A Spectacular Journey Along The Pumpkin Trail In Lubbock
Hey, Lubbock! I’ve got the perfect event to get you in the spooky fall spirit. Grab your family, your friends, and maybe even that weird neighbor who needs to get out more, and head down to the Pumpkin Trail at Clapp Park (46th Street & Avenue U) for one of the coolest traditions we have here in the Hub City!
Of course there's the lighted trail, glowing with hundreds of creatively carved jack-o-lanterns, winding through the beautiful Lubbock Memorial Arboretum. This event is brought to you by our friends at Reliant Energy and Lubbock Parks and Rec, and trust me, it’s one you don’t want to miss. The best part? Admission is absolutely FREE.
Yep, you heard me right—FREE!
It’s happening from Thursday, October 17th through Sunday, October 20th, 2024. You can hit the trail during daylight hours from 9 am to 6 pm Friday through Sunday, or come back for the evening glow from 6 pm to 8:45 pm on Thursday and Sunday, and until 9:45 pm on Friday and Saturday. You’ll find two entrances: one at 4111 University, and the other at the Garden and Arts Center at 4215 University.
By the way, the trail is completely stroller and wheelchair accessible, so everyone can join in on the fun!
Questions? Call the Hodges Community Center at (806) 767-3706. I’ll see you at the Pumpkin Trail, Lubbock!
