Earth Day is on Friday, April 21 and Lubbock's Citibus program will be offering citizens around Lubbock one heck of a deal. Jump on board and travel around Lubbock for free.

According to a social media post on Twitter from the City of Lubbock, Citibus will be offering free bus travel. The offer of free bus travel is good for the fixed route bus service and also the on-demand bus service that is offered.

Citizens can book rides on Friday with the Go Pass or with the Citibus On-Demand app.

One of the places you could possibly go to on Earth Day in Lubbock is to Texas Tech as the University celebrates Arbor Day at Memorial Circle from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There could be other events throughout the day in Lubbock and at Texas Tech to see, or maybe you can just take you own tour of the city on the bus. You can't beat free.
