According to NBC News, the 27-year-old coach was shot in the shoulder after "several" gunshots rang out during the game. One of the shots apparently ricocheted off a pole and hit the man shoulder.
The venue reportedly posted on Facebook that the shooting was from "recreational shooting on a nearby property". According to NBC News, the venue, called The Rac said it could have been people hunting on their own land, or illegal action taking place.
The Rac said the shooting may have occurred as a result of illegal hunting, which it said is commonplace in the "country."
"People shoot on their land all the time. At the time we were unaware of anything in season," The Rac wrote in a Facebook comment. "Now that we have more information, we know that their were 3 individuals target practicing 600/700 yards away."

Police Still Investigating The Shooting
