Gene Simmons will host the 2011 "Classsic Rock Roll of Honour" on November 9th in London to honor rock legend and 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jeff Beck.Back in 1989, I had the chance to see Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn on their "Fire Meets the Fury" North American tour in Austin,Texas, mercy what a night of serious guitar slinging. On November 9th, Beck will receive the exclusive "Living Legend" award for Beck's 4 decades of rock and roll service.

Beck says"When I was a 6-year-old boy, I heard Les Paul's 'How High The Moon' over the radio and from that moment on I knew that I wanted to play the guitar and make music. That moment has led me to where I am today". According to Gene Simmons  "On that momentous occasion, the planets will align, living legends will gather to honor their own and London will become the center of the rock and roll universe." Previous "Living Legend" award winners include, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy and Jimmy Page.
