With the stakes growing higher and higher as we reached the final race of the NASCAR season, Jimmie Johnson has done everything he's needed to do to make sure he's in the best position to win a championship. Kevin Harvick, however, won the day.

Matt Kenseth finished in 23rd after a rough, trouble-inflicted day, while Jimmie Johnson efficiently coasted to another top five. Johnson now has to have a completely dismal day in Miami next Sunday and Kenseth has to have a great day to win the championship.

As for today at the AdvoCare 500, Kevin Harvick took advantage of Carl Edwards' running out of gas late and sailed to another huge win. He inches his way closer to the top of the standings, but it's a little too late, I think.

It all comes down to next week, Homestead-Miami, where all will be decided for the Chase for the Sprint Cup and the season overall.
