As parents, we are always looking for ways to spend time with our kids and teach them about life... at least until they turn eleven or so, then they seem to know everything about life.

On Saturday, May 3rd, the city of Lubbock will host the 3rd Lubbock Lemonade Day to promote entrepreneurship for kiddos across the South Plains.

This event offers kids the opportunity to experience what it takes to own and operate a business of their own.

The goal this year is to create over 800 new businesses (lemonade stands) right here in the Hub City in one day.

These young business owners get to keep what they earn, with many donating their profits to local charities.

See, kids these days have a pretty good idea about life already.
