Lubbock Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charge
A former Texas Tech employee was arrested last week by Lubbock Police and charged with possession of child pornography.
Thirty-six-year-old Justin David McDonald was arrested after admitting to authorities he took photos of a naked underage girl, who was also a relative.
The photos were originally stored on his iPhone, then they synced up with his university-issued iPad. Police discovered both devices in the course of their investigation.
McDonald was officially charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana - less than 2 ounces. Bond has been set at $50,000, and McDonald remains in custody at the Lubbock County Jail.
