It looks as though Marilyn Manson may need a little more recovery time. The rocker, who recently suffered a scary-looking onstage accident in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom where he was felled by a stage prop, initially postponed nine dates on his "Heaven Upside Down" tour, but you can now add his scheduled participation in the 2017 Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Calif, and the Freakers' Ball in Texas to the list.

The Freakers' Ball headlining appearance in Grand Prairie, Texas, was scheduled for Oct. 15, but local station 97.1 The Eagle Rocks has posted that the musician will not be taking part. This is in addition to Manson already canceling another Freakers' Ball appearance in Kansas City that was set for Oct. 12. The message from 97.1 The Eagle Rocks can be viewed below.

Meanwhile, Manson will also miss out on the Aftershock Festival as confirmed in a post on the event's social media. The 2017 Aftershock Festival is set to take place Oct. 21 and 22 in Sacramento, but Manson is among a couple of lineup changes that are spelled out in the posting below. At press time, no further dates have been canceled, though there are several shows booked between Manson's Freakers' Ball and Aftershock stops.

The 2017 Aftershock Festival will feature big name acts like Ozzy Osbourne and Nine Inch Nails among plenty of others and but unfortunately Marilyn Manson and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes have both withdrawn from the event. The good news? Butcher Babies and Palaye Royale have both been added to the weekend's lineup.

Palaye Royale will now open the festival with an 11:40AM slot on Saturday, Oct. 21 and the Butcher Babies have taken command of the 1:40PM spot the following day.

As for Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, the band recently bowed out of their European tour supporting Papa Roach with the frontman citing mental health issues as the contributing factor behind the difficult decision. Not long after, he also called off his North American dates as well. Presumably, Carter is still working through these issues, which explains the band's decision to pull out of the Aftershock Festival. We're wishing the singer well as he continues to work through these difficult times.
