Update: According to a statement released by Pantera, the photo that has been making the rounds with Vinnie Paul's headstone was unauthorized and has not been placed at the musician's gravestone as of yet. A photo of the entire marker may be seen below:

The death of Pantera and Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul was felt throughout the hard rock and metal industry last year. He was laid to rest at the Moore Memorial Gardens cemetery in Arlington, Texas on June 30, 2018, buried next to his brother "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. Soon, those attending the burial site will see a brand new headstone that adorns Vinnie's grave.

The headstone reads, "Don't ever think it's not a good time, if you do think it's not a good time. A good time is a good time, a bad time is a bad time, and a wonderful time is irreplaceable. Hellyeah!" A photo of the headstone can be viewed via the Dimebag Darrell Universal Fans United Facebook page, as seen below.

Paul was working on a new album with his bandmates in Hellyeah at the time of his death. In the aftermath of his passing, the bandmates vowed to complete the record, which was nearing its end, and they recently announced plans to issue the album, titled Welcome Home, in September.

The group recently played a tribute show with Stone Sour's Roy Mayorga behind the kit. Mayorga is expected to continue with the band for their upcoming dates. Get album pre-order info here and ticketing details for their tour here.
