What’s Taking Over the Former World of Beer Location

According to Lubbock In The Loop, The Raider Tavern will be taking over this location. The opening is still "to be announced," and details are currently sparse. However, we can gather a few clues from the name: this is likely a locally owned concept, and will likely remain a bar.

Since World of Beer was equipped with many taps, coolers, a full kitchen, and a sound system, it stands to reason that we can reasonably expect brews, cocktails, eats, and perhaps even live entertainment at the new venue.

Why This Spot Was Chosen in Lubbock

I think the better question would be, "Why hasn't this location been scooped up yet?" The West End Shopping Center is a lively and fun area that's convenient to the Marsha Sharp, and since most of the retail will be closed during bar prime time hours, there will be plenty of parking for patrons of this new concept.

Between comedy events and fun hangs with friends, I made a lot of happy memories at World of Beer. I am excited to make some more happy memories with a (almost certainly) local tavern soon.
