Sorry but I apologetically LOVE stoner comedies.  I always have. I'm not really a stoner, but I just love the goofy good natured fun of Cheech & Chong, Harold & Kumar, Grandmas Boy and others.  There's a new one that just came out this week, but it won't be playing around these parts.  Check it after the jump.

From Seth McFarlane, creator of "Family Guy" comes the story of "Ted", a foul-mouthed partyin' Teddy Bear.  I don't know how this concept can sustain itself over the course of a whole movie, but the trailer is pretty vulgar and by vulgar, I mean hilarious+dirty!  More after the jump.

I am so pumped for the new movie "Prometheus" .  The movie is from the creative forces behind the "Alien" movies, but (apparently) doesn't really deal with those creatures.  From what I gather, earthlings travel to space to "meet our makers" and for one reason or another, all hell breaks loose.   We've already had some very cool trailers for the film, this one is more

Horror, action or comedy? Pick your poison, because all three genres will be represented in the movies opening in wide release this weekend.

You won’t have to wait until Friday for one of this weekend’s new movie releases — but it may look mighty familiar.

‘The Hunger Games’ once again treated the competition like dots in a Pac-Man game, swallowing them all without a trace. It earned $61.1 million and took the top spot at the weekend box office for the second week in a row.

Mustachioed anchorman Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) dropped by ‘Conan‘ on Wednesday night to make a surprise announcement regarding a sequel to the movie ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.’ And, true to form, Burgundy played a mean jazz flute while doing so.

New twists on both fairytales and mythological adventures hit theaters this weekend.

Given the massive success of ‘The Hunger Games‘ film adaptation — it raked in $155 million over the weekend, making it the third biggest opening of all time — internet parodies are already starting to stack up. But perhaps the funniest of all is a recreation of the film starring adorable Beanie Babies. Remember those?

You could say ‘The Hunger Games’ did well in its debut, but that would be a vast understatement — with $155 million in revenues, the film adaptation of the best-selling novel left the other movies in the dust and moved easily to the top of the charts this weekend.

Another week with a single movie opening in wide release, but everyone’s so excited about this one that it may have needed the entire weekend to itself.

Who else is geeked up to see Johnny Depp do his thing as a vampire?  I love a good horror-comedy and this one seems to have the recipe just perfect.  Depp stars as "Barnabus Collins", a vampire released after being imprisoned for centuries into the world of 1972.  More after the jump.
