Carnival of Madness

This past Friday night, the Carnival of Madness Tour rolled into the hub, one last summer fling for many before school starts. The entire day was cool and cloudy, until it was show time, it seems about the time the doors were set to open the clouds burned off and the temperature began to rise.

How cool would this have been if it happened in Lubbock this last Friday? Amy Lee of Evanescence joined Halestorm on stage last night in El Paso for their stop with The Carnival of Madness.

Evanescence lead singer, Amy Lee, said that it had been six years since the band had last been to Lubbock. Thank the rock gods that the wait was finally over thanks to the Carnival of Madness rolling through Lubbock tonight.

Lubbock rock and roll gods, Chevelle, dominated Lubbock on the Carnival of Madness Tour, tonight. The Illinois rockers threw down in the Lone Star State in a big way. After tonight we are making them honorary Texans.

Lubbock favorites Halestorm returned to Lubbock on the Carnival of Madness tour tonight and lived up to their love. Halestorm rocked out for nearly an hour but it wasn't enough. We could never get enough of Lzzy and the crew.

Cavo returned to Lubbock on the Carnival of Madness tour and kicked the teeth out of the Lubbock rock fans. Cavo, who never disappoints, wowed the crowd with a high energy show that kicked a$$ from start to finish.

New Medicine kicked off the Carnival of Madness tour in grand fashion. The 'Race You To The Bottom' rockers took the Hub City by storm.

The Carnival of Madness is so close we can taste it. The #1 question we have had asked to us is "when does my favorite band play?" Well, now you don't have to worry about it because the official set times have been released.

Driver Reads Twitter is quickly becoming a favorite with people around the building and throughout the city of Lubbock. This week though, Driver Reads Twitter shows some love to one of the Carnival of Madness bands rolling through on Friday as he reads his favorite Halestorm lyrics.

Well folks it's almost here, the end of summer vacation and the start of a new school year that is... I know you parents are probably more than ready to get the kids back in school, and kids, I am sure you guys are not ready to go, but it's happening so we might as well all have one last blow out...

The Carnival of Madness is just over a week away and we're stoke here at FMX to be able to bring you this show. It's the triumphant return of Evanescence to the Hub City along with a few of Lubbock's favorites. That being said, there are some things you'll need to know before you head out to the Lonestar Amphitheater on Friday, August 17th.
