I went backstage to set up a meet and greet with Everclear. My phone had crapped out and I couldn't get the tour manager on the phone. Sitting there all alone, smoking a fat robusto cigar was Art Alexakis with his leg in a soft cast.

The brainchild of Everclear singer Art Alexakis, the Summerland Tour hit Lubbock Wednesday night and brought rock and roll back to the Hub City.

Some lucky FMX listeners got to hang out with Art Alexakis and the guys from Everclear before the Summerland Tour kicked off in Lubbock.
