The Lubbock Jason's Deli, located on South Loop 289 between Quaker and Indiana Ave., is temporarily closed after a kitchen fire erupted early Wednesday morning.

Monday the Lubbock Fire Department will be conducting live fire burns at their training facility just south of the Lubbock Airport.

One person was killed in a house fire in Central Lubbock Monday night. The Lubbock Fire Marshal and Lubbock Police are investigating the incident.
