There are a couple of interesting things happening at the FMX Big Purple Party.  Do you want to guess?  They involve, The Toadies, Kill Devil Hill, Hellyeah, Killswitch Engage and Devil You Know.  Click through when you get ready.

The Big Purple Party was freaking legit...but the mosh pits were crazy! I got a great video of a couple mosh pits. It was a great time and just too much fun. I know I needed at least 3 or 4 days to recover from it.

21 bands, 13 hours of music what could go wrong? To answer, that absolutely nothing.

Man, I don't know what can be said about the FMX Purple Party other than awesome.  We got lucky with the perfect day, no real attitudes among the bands, the staff or the crowd.  Best of all, everybody seemed willing to check out each others music.  More after the jump.

On a crisp, clear Saturday night in Midland, Richard Patrick and his fresh tier of band-mates took the stage and absolutely grabbed the bull by the horns.
