Lubbock is joining a short list of Texas cities participating in a rapid testing pilot program for COVID-19.

On Monday, November 30th, Lubbock's Mac's BBQ & Catering announced that it was permanently closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The prayer gathering will be held Wednesday morning.

The City of Lubbock has 80,000 free masks that will be distributed by the Chamber of Commerce to eligible local businesses.

Attendees will be able to sample wines from all over Texas and enjoy live music.
