The Soundgarden rocker would love to work with Mad Season's members, but under one very key condition.

It would be my hope and dream that there be a professional copy of this. For the time being, we have fan-shot footage of the Seattle Symphony with Mad Season and Chris Cornell performing this song.

Although Mad Season only got 1 album done before Layne Staley's overdose, "Above" was such an incredible album that it still stands against anything today. And now it's getting a re-issue and mini documentary.

Mad Season was a 90's "supergroup" featuring Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam,  Barret Martin of Screaming Trees and bass player John Baker Saunders. Also involved with the project to a lesser degree  was Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan.  More after the jump.
