Most visitors to Nightmare on 19th Street think that the park opens and closes in October and then just sits there for a year until it reopens a year later, but this could not be further from the truth. The masters of horror, Wes Nessman, Lynn Day and their merry band of monster makers take a few weeks off in November and then immediately jump right back into the construction process. You can deny it all you want but even the most brave among us start to question whether ghosts and demons are real during the Halloween season. Friday night Woody and I put on our game faces and made our annual trip through Nightmare on 19th, (For the record she wanted to go first so I could catch her if she got so scared she fainted...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!).
