Phil Buerstatte was the drummer for White Zombie from 1992-1994 he was also in the band Last Crack and he was found dead in Madison, Wisconsin this past weekend.
I have to tell you that I LOVED the last Rob Zombie album. I love the new song "Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown". I also love covers. With all this said, after hearing this cover, all I kept thinking was "was this necessary"? It's not 100% true to the original, but darn close. It's really not much difference than when one of those kids on the singing shows add the
One of my all time favorite songs is Black Sabbath's "Children Of Grave" and Stone Sour recently covered the track and I literally got goose bumps.
Ooh, it's another scoop. I found this with a mere 301 hits and it's going to blow up quick. Rob Zombie has released the first video from the album "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" . Check it out after the jump.
I am a HUGE fan of almost all of the Pixar movies. "Wall-E" and "Ratatouille" weren't that great. But "Cars", especially with my 3 year old, is one of the greatest movies of all time. Now there's "Planes"!
I like the sound of just about everything on the new Rob Zombie album. As a matter of fact, the last Rob Zombie album (Hellbilly Deluxe 2) was awesome except for the first sing "What?" which gave people a very wrong impression of the project. Now comes news that Zombie will be doing a "heavy duty" cover of an overdone classic. More after the jump.
In recent interview conducted by Steppin' Out Magazine Dan Lorenzo talked with former White Zombie Bassist Sean Yseult about her new book, "I'm In The Band - Backstage Notes From The Chick In White Zombie."
When I went put this week's "Cockfight" together I thought for sure we had a runaway. White Zombie started in 1985 and ended in 1998 shortly after the release of Rob Zombie's solo album "Hellbilly Deluxe". I am a huge Zombie fan to begin with but I thought that White Zombie would take this "Cockfight" with ease...
Check out this song from Sean Yseult of White Zombie. This was recorded on tour in 1992. And the most important part is that it isn't a White Zombie track. It was recorded by Sean, Phil Anselmo and Dimebag Darrell!
Rob Zombie is a pretty scary guy. He makes sinister sounds, scary cartoons and very bloody, very scary movies. Before he could become a modern horror and metal icon, he worked on a children’s show. Any guesses?
