What could be better on a West Texas summer night than a little 'yardbird' smoking on the grill, sipping on a few ice cold ones jamming to fresh meat from Ted Nugent.

The Great Gonzo is back with his first studio record in seven years. "SHUTUP&JAM!" which includes the tasty "I Love My BBQ" slab hits stores on Tuesday, July 8.

The new rack 'o rock features Ted's longtime partner in crime Derek St. Holmes on vocals and guitar, Greg Smith slapping the bass, and Mick Brown behind the kit.

If that's not enough fire power for ya, Sammy Hagar lends his throat on the tune "She's Gone" (which reeks of the Don Nix classic "Going Down").

Hagar shared his thoughts on the new stuff: "When I first heard Ted's demo of this song, I immediately responded with "I'm in," adding that Teddy is "ripping the guitar like the days of old."

Ted built the fire, now you choke on the smoke!
